Notes

A hand-built journal front page for a seed company: masthead, a featured story whose text panel overlaps the photo, a topic rail with a brand-coloured sowing tile, three secondary stories and a dated archive list. Everything is static Divs, Headings and Text Links rather than a post loop, so edit the copy by hand or swap the cards for a Post Loop Builder once the layout is signed off. The overlap is a negative top margin on the story panel, which keeps the page background colour so it reads in dark mode. The secondary cards turn into thumbnail rows on phones and the rail splits into two columns on tablets.
