Two hours per workshop, covering the machines, the rules and the extraction. Included with membership.

Welding for beginners

Three evenings. MIG and TIG, on steel, finishing with something you keep. £160.
FORTNIGHTLY

Introduction to the lathe

One Saturday, four people, one tutor. The most oversubscribed thing we run. £120.

Screen printing

A day in the print room, four colours, twenty pulls of your own design. £95.

THE RULES

Short, and all of them about not getting hurt.

No. Hand tools, machines and consumables within reason are all included. Bring your own material and your own safety boots.

Yes, and about eighty members do. Studio tenants get a trade waste agreement and a delivery address.

Eighteen for the metal and wood shops. Sixteen with a guardian member for print, textiles and electronics.

Then you are our favourite kind of member. Start with an induction and a beginners' course, and ask everybody everything.
