Every visit starts with ten minutes at the counter so we know the coat, the temperament and anything the vet has said. Prices depend on size and coat, and we confirm them before we start.

“Mabel came in looking like a doormat and came out looking like a cloud. She pulled me to the door the second time, which says it all.”

“Our rescue lurcher won’t let anyone near his feet. They took it slowly, stopped when he needed a break, and rang me halfway to say how he was doing.”

What you see here is what most dogs pay. If a coat needs more work than we expected, we tell you at drop-off, never at collection.
Matted coats
We always ring before clipping out matting. Dematting is charged at £12 for each 15 minutes, and we stop if it is upsetting your dog.

Before you book
Questions owners ask at the door.
Anything else, ring the parlour between grooms on 01632 960 184 or send a text with a photo of the coat.
Most dogs are with us for two to three hours. We text when they are on the table and send a photo when they are ready, so you are never waiting around outside.
For puppy visits, yes. For full grooms most dogs settle better once their owner has gone, but you are welcome to watch through the window for the first ten minutes.
Yes. We book nervous and older dogs first thing, when the parlour is quiet, and take breaks whenever they need one. Tell us when you book and we will plan the time around them.
We ask that dogs are up to date with vaccinations and flea treatment. If your dog has a skin condition, bring anything the vet has prescribed and we will use it.
Please give us 48 hours. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged at half the groom, because a slot is hard to fill at short notice.

There is a dog water bowl by the door and a lead hook for anyone popping in for nails. Drop-off is at the side gate so muddy paws stay outside.
