“We have camped all over the country and nowhere else has showers this hot or a view this good from the tent door. The children still talk about collecting the eggs.”

BEFORE YOU COME

Things people ask at the gate.

If your question isn’t here, ring the farmhouse. Someone usually picks up before the fourth ring.
THE FARMHOUSE
01632 960 418
9am to 6pm, every day of the season

Yes, up to two dogs per pitch, kept on a lead in the fields because of the sheep. There is a fenced dog field behind the barn where they can run. Dogs are £2 a night.

Not on the grass, but every pitch can borrow a raised brazier from the barn for free. Logs and kindling are sold at the farm shop. Fires out by 11pm, please.

Two bars on most networks in the top field and less in the orchard. There is free wifi in the washing-up shelter and around the farm shop, and none in the fields on purpose.

Ring the farmhouse before 6pm and we will leave the gate code in your email and a lantern on your pitch. Please drive the lanes at walking pace after dark.

Move your dates for free up to seven days before you arrive. Inside seven days we keep the £20 deposit and refund anything else you have paid.

We take up to three pitches booked together. We don’t take stag or hen groups, and quiet from 10pm applies to everyone.
