The first warehouse, on the site we are still on, bought with a mortgage everybody told him was reckless.

Ken's daughter Ros takes over. First packing crew, first proper insurance, first fleet of more than three.
2011
Containerised storage. It was meant to be a sideline and it is now a third of the business.
2019
Employee ownership. Every full-timer with two years' service holds a stake, and the trust owns the freehold.
2026
Forty-one staff, eleven vehicles, and Ros still does the survey on anything over six bedrooms.
