INTERACTIVE Calculators for Breakdance

Build price quotes and any calculator you need

Calculator Builder turns a list of fields into a working calculator. Add values up in simple mode or write your own formulas, then show the results in the calculator or anywhere else on the page. Visitors can even email the results to you.

Change the options and watch the prices update

Pick a plan and adjust the fields. The three price cards below the calculator are separate Calculator Value elements that update as you go.

Pricing calculators and quote tools, built in the builder.

Lay out the fields, write the formula, and let visitors see the number change as they choose. No shortcodes, no third-party embed, and every part of it styled with the builder's own controls.

▤Six field types

Slider, Number Input, Dropdown, Radio Buttons, Checkbox / Toggle and Button Group — each set to full, half, third or quarter width so the layout reads like a designed form rather than a stack of inputs.

Sliders take min, max, step and a default, with an optional live tooltip. Every field gets a description, and a value prefix or suffix such as £ or users.

∑Two ways to calculate

  • Simple — adds up every field's value, with an optional cost per unit on sliders and number inputs
  • Formula — your own expression, referencing fields by variable name

A formula looks like ({users} * {seat_price}) + {setup}, and you can set a base or minimum value the total never drops below.

☰As many results as you need

Formula mode isn't limited to one total. Add a result line for each figure you want to show — subtotal, VAT, monthly, first-year — each with its own formula, prefix and suffix.

  • Mark one Primary for the large headline figure
  • Give a line a variable name and reference it in later lines
  • Hide a line so it only feeds the others

◎Show the total anywhere — Calculator Value

The result doesn't have to sit under the calculator. Drop a Calculator Value element anywhere else on the page — in the hero, beside a call to action, in a sticky bar — point it at a result by name, and it mirrors that figure live as the visitor changes their selections.

It carries its own prefix, suffix, typography and colours, so the same number can appear as a small line of body copy in one place and a large headline in another.

Set a fallback value and it shows something sensible before the visitor has touched anything.

⇆Conditional fields

Show a field only when another field holds a particular value, so the form reveals itself as the visitor makes choices instead of presenting everything at once.

£Number formatting

Decimal places, a currency symbol before or after the figure, and thousand separators.

Add wording either side of the total — “From” before it, “per month” after it — so the result reads as a sentence.

✉Email the results

Let visitors send themselves the breakdown, or send it to you as a lead. The email lists their selections and every result line.

Recipient, subject, button text, success message and all three headings are yours to set, with optional name, email and message fields.

✎Styled like the rest of your site

Design controls for layout, columns and gaps; labels and field backgrounds; input backgrounds and focus colour; slider track, progress, thumb and tooltip; radio and button-group states; toggle sizing and on/off colours; and the results area and button.

How it works

Three steps to a calculator

Set up your fields, tell it how to work out the total, then style it.

1

Add your fields

Drop Calculator Builder onto your page and add sliders, number inputs, dropdowns, radio buttons, toggles or button groups.

2

Set the calculation

Use simple mode to add everything up, or formula mode to write expressions using each field's variable name.

3

Show the results

Show the total in the calculator, add extra result lines, or place Calculator Value elements anywhere on the page.

Features

Everything a calculator needs

From a quick price estimate to a multi-step formula.

Six field types

Slider, number input, dropdown, radio buttons, checkbox or toggle, and button group.

Simple mode

Adds up every field. Sliders and number inputs can have a cost per unit, and you can set a base value.

Formula mode

Write your own expression with {variable} names, for example {users} * {plan} + {support}.

Multiple result lines

Show several results, mark one as primary, and hide in-between steps you only need for other formulas.

Results anywhere

Calculator Value shows a named result anywhere on the page, such as inside your own pricing cards.

Conditional fields

Show a field only when another field has a certain value.

Email results

Let visitors send their selections and results to an address you choose, with optional name, email and message fields.

Number formatting

Currency symbol before or after, decimal places, thousand separators, and text before and after the total.

Full styling

Columns and gaps, field and input styles, slider, radio, toggle and results design, plus a button and rich text below the results.

Tips & FAQ

Good to know

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Simple mode adds up your fields with no formulas at all. Formula mode uses basic maths such as + - * / and brackets, with field names in curly brackets.

How do I show a result outside the calculator?

Give a result line a variable name, then add a Calculator Value element anywhere on the page and enter the same name. It updates as the visitor changes the fields.

Can one result use another?

Yes. In formula mode each result line can use the results above it by name. Mark in-between lines as hidden if you only need them for the maths.

Where do emailed results go?

To the address you set in Send To Email Address. The email lists the visitor's selections and the results, plus their name, email and message if you turn those fields on.

Can I hide fields until they are needed?

Yes. Set Show If Field and Show If Value on a field and it only appears when the other field matches.
